U.S. News Travel’s list of the 50 most beautiful places in the world included two islands in Florida: Sanibel Island and Captiva Island…and we couldn’t agree more!

The two stunning islands are right off the coast of Florida, but taking a trip to these gems can end up being perfect for a tropical getaway in Florida.

Together, Sanibel and Captiva have around 15 miles of stunning sandy beaches, plus there are no stoplights which makes any visit feel more like a secluded paradise.

Sanibel Island is known for having the best seashell beach in America, with a variety of seashells in all different shapes, sizes, and color.
