The towering structure was built in 1848 and, at the time, was one of the first cast-iron lighthouses in the South. Today, it’s open daily for tours from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., weather permitting. During the guided tour, you’ll get the chance to ascend the lighthouse’s spiral staircase and take in the views from the top. Admission varies from free - $5, depending on age. Stop by at the birthplace of America’s favorite icon. The Elvis Presley birthplace is still located in its current location and has been lovingly restored in way befitting of the King! 306 Elvis Presley Dr, Tupelo, MS, 38801. Go bargain hunting! Held twice a year – once in the spring and once in the fall - Vicksburg’s Old Court House Flea Market attracts vendors from across the country.
