Kids love dinosaurs – and so do a lot of people who were kids once upon a time! Normally, Iowa residents can only encounter these massive beasts in fossil form at one of the Hawkeye State’s top-notch museums, but that’s about to change. For three days starting on February 10th, 2023, the Iowa Events Center is about to transform into the only dinosaur park in Iowa. It’s all thanks to Jurassic Quest, a popular pop-up dinosaur event traveling the country and bringing life-sized interactive dinosaurs everywhere it goes. Not only will these massive beasts come to life, but guests will be able to meet them up close and personal – and maybe even pet them! It’s a rare opportunity to share the same space as these long-extinct legends who once ruled the world, and it’s finally coming to Iowa.

Dinosaurs ruled the world 65 million years ago - but for three days this February, they’re taking over the Hawkeye State!

The fun begins before you even enter Jurassic Quest at most locations, with the largest robotic dinosaur being stationed outside the convention center.
