Opening in 2023, Adventure Port is the newest themed area at Kings Island – but it’s so much more than a mere “themed area” within an amusement park… it’s an entire wonderful world!

This new mini theme park at Kings Island has it all: two new family rides, enhanced theming for Adventure Express, a quick-service restaurant, and entire historic market.

Adventure Express is perhaps the park’s most-anticipated new ride; this roller coaster first opened in 1991 and will be enhanced for 2023, with a relocated queue line and additional theming sure to delight guests young and old.

For those who can’t stomach roller coasters (guilty!), the Mercado is a great way to experience Adventure Port. While you’re exploring, be sure to chat up the local tour guide, a tour guide and local expert. Play along – it’s part of the experience!

Similar to one of the immersive worlds you’d find at a Disney theme park, Adventure Port has its very own setting, backstory, lore, and legends. When you enter this themed area, get ready to explore the foothills of overgrown mountains and dense tropical terrain, searching for clues in the ruins of an ancient civilization that left behind intriguing temples and mysterious wonders.
