Amicalola Falls via the East Ridge Loop Trail is a two-mile hike outside of Marble Hill, Georgia, north of Atlanta, near the Chattahoochee National Forest. The trail is popular, and it is easy to see why. This short hike takes you to views of incredible waterfalls and breathtaking forest overviews and is an unbelievable chance to see changing fall foliage at certain times of the year. Amicalola Falls is Georgia’s tallest waterfall, stretching over 700 feet tall! Located in Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge, the park covers over 800 acres of beautiful Georgia forest and will be a sight to remember.
