Streams of warm water flow through the park, originating from a fresh underground spring.

The spring-fed streams were historically known for their healing mineral waters. George Washington even paid a visit to this WV town to bathe here.

As a visitor, you can splash in the streams throughout the park, or pay a visit to the bathhouses where the water is even warmer.

Wikimedia Commons /Andrew Bossi The water in the park is naturally about 74 degrees, and the water in the bathhouses is heated to about 100 degrees, for even further relaxation. This is truly one of the most awesome things to do in West Virginia.
