Christmas Fun in Arizona November 02, 2022 Katie Lawrence What are some of the best Christmas events in AZ? There are no shortage of opportunities to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year in Arizona. One of the best Christmas events in AZ is the world-famous North Pole Experience, located at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff. This extremely popular attraction takes you on a magical train ride to a Christmas village that looks exactly like the North Pole. Once there, you’ll get to enter Santa’s workshop and watch the elves tinkering away on all sorts of toys, enjoy cookies and hot cocoa with Mrs. Claus, and even meet the big man in red himself. It’s a memorable experience for all ages! What are the best drive-thru light shows in AZ? If you love drive-thru light shows in AZ, Arizona Lights in the Night is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Located in Phoenix, this dazzling event features over a million lights, as well as life-sized displays of candy canes, snowmen, Christmas trees, and more. Even better, the lights are synchronized to festive music, so both your eyes and ears are in for a treat. There is even an interactive holiday workshop where, for a small extra fee, children will receive a limited edition, light-up holiday teddy bear! Where can I go snow tubing in AZ? The words “snow” and “Arizona” don’t seem like they should belong in the same sentence, but the northern half of the state actually sees quite a bit of the white stuff every winter. One of our favorite places to go snow tubing in AZ is Flagstaff Snow Park, located in the snowiest city in the Grand Canyon State. Typically open from mid-December through mid-March, the park offers multiple snow tubing lanes, so you can race all of your friends and family to the bottom. There’s a special, smaller hill for kids, and tubes are included in the price of admission.
