Home to around 5,500 people, Snowflake was settled by Mormon pioneers in the late 1800s. History buffs will love the town’s Historic Homes Walking Tour, which includes 26 homes listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

There is also plenty for nature lovers to do in Snowflake. Summit the nearly 6,000-foot-high Fourmile Knoll, or take a scenic hike through the breathtaking Five Mile Canyon.

Located about five miles north of the town center, this stunning natural wonder is filled with unique rock formations and ancient petroglyphs. Some are, unfortunately, not authentic, but just as many are!

If your visit happens to fall during spooky season, be sure to add the Willis Farm to your itinerary. Their annual October festivities, including a pumpkin patch and corn maze (plus a special haunted corn maze after dark) never disappoint.
