Sammy’s opened in 2009 and is the American Dream in action. Its owner, Sammy Flores, was originally from Mexico and moved to the U.S. in 2003 with the goal of opening his own restaurant.

Not only did Flores open his own restaurant, but he created a fan-favorite place that’s always packed and well-known in its small corner of Ohio. Sammy’s is perhaps best-known for its themed burgers that celebrate local sports teams and athletes. This beauty, for example, is the Anthony Munoz Burger, a 50/50 blend of beef and chorizo topped with corn fritters, guacamole, bacon, and pepper jack, for a behemoth burger befitting of the football legend!

An ever-rotating array of monthly specials makes dining at Sammy’s an exciting experience – one that rewards adventurous palates with exciting fusions like the “Beef and Reef,” a quirky handheld spin on surf-and-turf.
