The New River Gorge Bridge is 876 feet high, 3030 feet long, 70 feet wide, and is 88 million pounds. It is one of the iconic landmarks that define West Virginia.

Bridge Day is a one-day festival in Fayetteville, West Virginia held every October. The bridge is completely closed to traffic on Bridge Day and an estimated 400 people jump off the bridge each year. Here’s a video of this epic event:
