These southwest Oklahoma mountains are a must-stop destination for anyone in (or traveling through) the state. It is home to nearly 60,000-acres of natural beauty filled with wildlife and recreation. You can get out of your car and take a hike or there is a road that travels through the mountains so you can enjoy the beauty from your car. The waterfall splits into several cascades as it tumbles over the cliff above the drop. The waterfall is 77 feet tall and is the perfect place to cool off on a hot, summer day, but it’s also absolutely stunning in the fall. The drive into the falls and in this part of the state is majestic.

You can find this gorgeous park in West Siloam Springs close to the Arkansas border. The hike to the waterfall is only 1 mile long and the scenery is breathtaking. It has 1,300 miles of shoreline and is one of the largest lakes in the state. If you visit from May-October the green foliage in this area is a show stopper and makes for a magnificent backdrop.
