Here in Ohio, Christmas at Dogwood Pass is a magical month-long event that takes place in a life-size replica of an Old West town in the small town of Beaver. It’s the perfect holiday-themed outing to take with the whole family.

Welcome to Dogwood Pass, an impressive replica of an Old West town tucked away in the hills of southern Ohio.

During the holiday season, the town transforms into a winter wonderland of colorful lights, Christmas cheer and holiday-themed performances.

Dogwood Pass/Facebook The town’s saloon, jail, general store, bank, freight office, gun shop, livery stable, and shops are all decked out in holiday decor.

This year, Christmas at Dogwood Pass takes place every Thursday - Sunday from November 25 - December 23.

You can visit on Thursday nights from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., Fridays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Dogwood Pass/Facebook The Grinch and Santa Claus will make special appearances on Saturdays and Sundays after dark until 10 p.m.

During the day on Saturdays and Sundays, you can catch an Old West show from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

With over 500 nativity scenes from all over the world and an outdoor display of over 100,000 lights, this is the place to be for the holiday season. What are the most dazzling Christmas light displays in Ohio? When it comes to Christmas light displays, Ohio really shines! The Columbus Zoo hosts its annual WildLights with millions of lights all over the zoo with many displays in the shapes of the animals that call this place home. There’s also a Polar Bear Express train to tour the whole zoo! The Scioto Mile Grand Illumination in Columbus makes the riverside park glow every year with tons of lighted trees all along this popular local walkway.
