Cozy Cabins in Kentucky October 23, 2022 Sarah M. What are some other cozy cabins in Kentucky?  Call us biased, but we’re pretty big fans of the accommodations offers at our Kentucky State Parks, particularly the resorts. Did you know that Kentucky is home to more state park resorts than any other state in the country? Kentucky has 45 state parks, and 17 of those are designated “resorts.” And these aren’t those run-of-the-mill resorts you’ll find in other states; these Kentucky resorts boast beautiful lodges outfitted with features like cozy wood beams, working stone fireplaces, and picture windows, for the ultimate hygee experience. The best part? These amazing accommodations are all quite affordable, too, so you can enjoy a luxurious resort getaway any time of the year in our beautiful Kentucky State Parks. Some of our favorite Kentucky State Park Resorts with cozy cabin rentals include Carter Caves State Resort Park, Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, and Pine Mountain State Resort Park. In fact, with regard to Pine Mountain State Resort Park, this really is a place that doesn’t get as much attention as its Kentucky State Park siblings, which is downright criminal! Kentucky’s first state park, Pine Mountain is known for its unrivaled outdoor recreation and immense scenic splendor. You’ll feel the charm and history when you enter the main part of the lodge – and be sure to dine at Mountain View Restaurant, a place that offers both incredible food and vistas. The park’s lodge has 30 guest rooms, each with their own private patio or balcony to enjoy the mountain views, and you can also opt to stay in a secluded log cabin or rustic cottage, too – all of the accommodations here are super cozy!
