There’s a scenic train ride in Northern California that not many people know about. The Zephyr train by Amtrak runs from Emeryville in the Bay Area to Chicago. We love the scenic journey from the Bay Area to Reno.

Traveling by train can feel like you’re stepping back in time. But on today’s modern trains, the journey comes with modern comforts.

If you’re going to Reno, you’ll travel through the snowiest area in California and have some amazing views.
