Every day we have the opportunity to begin again. Waking up to see a sunrise is something we all ought to do at least once, though once you’ve experienced the humble-yet-awesome start to the day, you’ll likely want to do it again and again. There are many places to catch a beautiful sunrise in Ohio, including some that are likely not on your radar. Magee Marsh Wildlife Area is one such place. Known for amazing birding and beautiful Lake Erie scenery, this wildlife preserve also boasts the best sunrises in Ohio.

Purchased by the Ohio Division of Wildlife in August 1951, Magee Marsh Wildlife Area lies in some of the finest and most fascinating remaining wetlands in Ohio.
