Chances are, if you live in Arkansas, you have been on several hikes. And perhaps you have seen the majestic natural wonders of our gorgeous state. While those are unique treasures, there are hidden gems hiding in Arkansas that are worthy of a trip. One such gem is Hell Creek and it’s a little-known natural area in Arkansas that is out of this world. 

The Ozarks is truly a magical place filled with lots of enchanting sites to see. And Hell Creek Cave Natural Area is one that is filled with wonders.

Though there is no designated trail, and the region is not well-maintained, it is managed by the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission.

Perhaps best known for the endangered species of crawfish and gray bats that dwell inside the caves, this hidden gem also has lots of areas to explore.

And speaking of water, Hell Creek is usually wet and flooded especially during the rainy season.

And there are so many of these jaw-dropping hidden gems on the trail that you’ll believe that you’ve been transported to another world.
