Here in Tennessee, we have some phenomenal trails to explore. In fact, you can spend a lifetime exploring everything from east to west in our beautiful state. Interestingly enough, Chimney Rocks Trail looks strikingly similar to Snooper Rock Trail. These TN trails each boast similar overlooks, but offer hikers wholly unique adventures.
Chimney Rocks Trail will take you up to a view overlooking the French Broad River.

To enjoy Chimney Rocks Trail, there are a few things you should know before you go.
Daniel Hawkins/ Alltrails The trail leads into Weavers Bend Campground which will close the gate of the road leading to the trailhead during certain times and seasons. If this happens, you will have to add mileage to your hike but the plus side is the beautiful sights you can get along the way.
If you enjoy a secluded hike then this trail will be perfect for you. Many times there are very few people traveling this route so you will have a lot of time to be alone.
Chip Dice/ Alltrails
The trail will lead you straight up for around 4.5 miles and you will gain 1,171 feet of elevation along the way for a moderate-rated hike. The official trail will go past the Chimney Rock overlook so if you are short on time you can turn around once you arrive at the viewpoint.
