Also known as the Old Swimming Hole, Cascade Falls is a small body of crystal clear water that boasts 67-degree temperatures and a dainty waterfall.

While the clean and comfortable water is reason enough to visit this old-fashioned swimming hole, the pool also houses such features as an all-natural waterslide (a la the waterfall), plenty of sitting area, and tons of shade.

To access Cascade Falls, take Highway 71 south from Hot Springs for about nine miles, where you will find parking and a picnic area with restrooms.

After parking, Cascade Falls can be found via a short trail that will take you directly to the water.

Watch your step when you visit! Since Cascade Falls is in a rural and shaded area, you may encounter snakes and poison ivy.
