Huckleberry Shops In Montana Near Little Switzerland

These blueberry-looking berries thrive in Western Montana, so you’ll find dishes galore that are made with huckleberry jam, huckleberry glaze, and huckleberries themselves. And hiding nearby Glacier National Park in the small town of Hungry Horse are two awesome huckleberry shops that you will want to check out.

When many people think of Switzerland, they immediately think of the Swiss Alps. With its stunning mountain peaks, lush green valleys, and Alpine lakes, the Swiss Alps are considered one of the most beautiful places in the world.

It then probably comes as no surprise that many people consider Glacier National Park “Little Switzerland.” Its granite peaks, alpine meadows, and mountain lakes stun all who visit and are truly reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

And while huckleberries may not be popular in Switzerland, they certainly are in Montana. And just a few miles from Little Switzerland, in Hungry Horse, you can find two of the best huckleberry shops in Montana.

The Huckleberry Patch is an amazing huckleberry cannery, bakery, and shop. There you can find delicious food and even buy wild huckleberry jams, jellies, preserves, toppings, syrups, and pie fillings. Yum!
