The Jemison Center, which is often referred to as Old Bryce Hospital, is located in Northport, Alabama.

Its construction was completed in 1939, and it housed mental patients until 1977. Sadly, according to numerous reports, the Jemison Center treated its patients horribly, which ultimately led to its closing.

Because of the way the patients were treated, this psychiatric hospital has even been compared to a concentration camp.

There’s no denying that the Jemison Center was once a beautiful building. However, now that it’s been abandoned for many years, it’s unrecognizable because it’s covered in lots of plant growth and graffiti. It’s also surrounded by lots of overgrown trees.
