When you want to get into the holiday spirit and feel the magic of Christmas, Jordanelle State Park is the place to go. From mid-November and throughout December, this state park in Utah offers quite a dazzling holiday light display.

You will see thousands of twinkling Christmas lights and displays that transform this state park into the most festive setting. Especially after a snowfall, you will feel like you are in the midst of an enchanting winter wonderland.

This isn’t your typical holiday light display. Rather, you will enjoy these lights while on a horse-drawn wagon ride. The wagons are pulled by a team of Percheron draft horses and the entire experience is magical.

You’ll want to bring your entire family along for the ride and the light show. Tickets are required and you can pay per person or reserve a small private wagon for up to six individuals or a large private wagon for up to 15 people. Children ages two and under are free.

Wagon rides are available Thursday through Saturday evenings between November 25, 2022, and December 31, 2022. Rides begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until 9:30 p.m. If you visit on a Friday or Saturday evening, you may just see Santa visiting as well!
