Situated within the Kokiwanee Nature Preserve, Kissing Falls is a little-known waterfall that is worth exploring if you love nature and natural attractions.

Formed by a stream falling over the drop-off of the cut-out of a rock formation, these falls are beautiful to view just about any time of year.

Most stunning in the spring and summer months after a rainfall, Kissing Falls is also part of the Salamonie State Forest and is part of a stream near the Salamonie River.

Hiking this path is just 1.5 miles in total, and it will loop you back to where you started. It is great for hiking, running, dog walking, and more, although, not really a suitable hike for young children, as the portion of the trail to the bottom of the falls is more difficult.
