This incredible winter wonderland began in 2018 by Jim and Shannon Youngstrom. The couple and their six kids work together each year to create this ice wonderland that is unlike anything else you’ll experience in Idaho.

This ice palace is a destination filled with excitement, magic, and wonder. You can walk through the palace, which is made completely of ice and snow. There are ice tunnels to explore, unique structures to admire, and multi-colored lights that make this an unforgettable winter attraction.

After you have explored a little, race down the ice slides that are made of 100 percent ice.

For even more magic, hop on the back of a horse-drawn sleigh.

One ride will take you to the LaBelle Lake Resort, where you can spend time sledding and sipping on free hot chocolate. The second ride will take you through the woods and along the Snake River, giving you a relaxing ride with beautiful winter wonderland views. Both sleigh ride options require an additional fee.
You also won’t want to miss the fire shows and performances by fire dancers. There’s something special about watching a show with fire and being surrounded by ice.
