Summers in Alabama are so hot you could fry an egg in the palm of your hand. Which might be useful if you are in need of a quick snack, but not very fun if you are trying to keep cool. There’s no better way to cool off from the summer heat than by taking a dip in Lake Martin, Alabama’s most beautiful lake. Lake Martin has some of the clearest and most pristine water of all the lakes in Alabama. Some might say it’s one of the south’s greatest lakes. We’ll let you decide.
With an area of more than 41,000 acres, Lake Martin is one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States.
