Coming to Globe-Miami in April 2023, this weekend-long event features great food, live entertainment, and – of course – hikes through the vibrant fields of wildflowers in Arizona that cover the ground. Every year in early April, Gila County turns into a spring wonderland as thousands of golden poppies begin to bloom.

Flickr/dmallen321 The third annual AZ Poppy Fest will take place throughout the month of April in 2023 and Arizonans from all four corners of the state are invited to join in the spectacle.

The fun kicks off on Friday, April 7 in downtown Globe, where visitors can enjoy food vendors, live entertainment, and tons of local deals.

On Saturday afternoon, the party hops on over to the Stairizona Trail Tour.

Catch a movie at the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum at 7 p.m. on Saturday - it’s the perfect ending to a fun-filled day.
