Welcome to the American Banjo Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of banjos. This unique museum is located in Oklahoma City and features 21,000 square feet of space relating to all things banjo.

In the museum, you’ll find over 400 instruments, along with lots of memorabilia related to the banjo.

Many banjos are preserved in glass cases and are quite extraordinary. It is the only museum of its kind in the world that is solely dedicated to the collection and preservation of the banjo.

The museum features many collections and is very educational about the history of the banjo. Every era is represented and is very well displayed.

For example, they have a display about how Kermit the Frog was instrumental in popularizing this instrument. You’ll find permanent exhibits along with special exhibits that are only around for a limited time.
