Finding good Mexican food in the Midwest can be a real challenge. After all, we’re a smidge bit removed from the southern border, so it can be tough to find places that are actually good (and do authentic Mexican right). So what about the flip-flop of this? What about a place that does really good Mexican food that’s also home to some really mouthwatering burgers (maybe even the best burgers in Indiana)? We think yes, and we are in. Enter Revolucion, an amazing little restaurant in Indy that not only serves up excellent Mexican – it’s also home to some downright delicious burgers, too!
Revolucion doesn’t look like anything terribly special from the outside, which is usually how you know it’s great inside.

The atmosphere and overall vibe of this place is a wondrously achieved mixture of Vaquero art and tiki paradise.

And, really, the burgers here are great.

Some burgers even have a little south-of-the-border twist, like the addition of jalapenos, to spice things up a bit (sometimes literally).
