Pirate’s Cove Children’s Theme Park in northern Illinois is a seasonal attraction that is open June through August. Uncover the area’s best treasure at this fun-filled park that will take kids ages 1 through 9 on a tropical adventure.

This amazing pirate-themed attraction inspires imagination and stimulates creativity in children. It is recommended that you wear socks and gym shoes to play here.

Attractions include Pete’s Pirate Ship, which is modeled after an 18th century boat. The upper deck is great for views of the whole park while enjoying a meal, and the lower deck is an activity area for arts and crafts.

Another very popular attraction at this park is the Barnacle Bay Boats. Young kids can climb aboard these tiny sailing rigs and float all around.

Admission for Pirate’s Cove Children’s Theme Park is $9 for children of residents and $12 for children of non Elk Grove Village residents. Parents always enter for free, and hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
