The Beachside Boutique Inn is one of the most unique places to stay on the East Coast, with an eclectic mix of inn and cottage rooms and standalone cottages.

The Queen Anne room is one of four rooms in the main house, called the Wooden Castle. It’s a second-floor room with a queen-size sleigh bed and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The room is surrounded by 12 windows overlooking the oak tree canopy and backyard area.

The King’s Tower, also on the second floor, is a master suite with a California King-size bed, a custom bathroom with a rain shower, a jet tub, and a dry heat sauna, and a TV room with a loveseat recliner and a 70-inch television. It’s perfect for a honeymoon or special occasion.
Beachside Boutique Inn The other two rooms in the Wooden Castle are the Prince Folly Room with a queen-size bed and Little Annie Room with a full-size bed. Each has a private bathrooom.
In the Quirky Cottage, there are three themed rooms, a full kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a large covered patio with high-top tables and woven bar stools. The Shabby Chic Room has a full-size wrought-iron bed and a claw-footed bathtub with shower.

Also in the Quirky Cottage, That ’70s Room has a round queen-size bed with retro ’70s decor and a private bathroom with a tub and shower.

The third room in the Quirky Cottage, the Tree House Room, has a full-size bed frame customized from local tree limbs nestled under a gauzy circular canopy and private bathroom with a shower.

The Seacret Cottage is one of two private cottages. It’s a tiny house space with an open floor plan.

It has a queen-size loft bed and a full-size IKEA futon bed, sleeping up to four people.

The other private cottage is The Costa Rican Bungalow, a favorite among guests. It has a queen-size bed, a private bath with a tub and shower, and a full kitchen. There’s also a large front porch with a table and chairs for four people plus a comfy futon and high backed chair.
Beachside Boutique Inn This cottage is a perfect space for chilling out with friends. It was rescued from the west side of the island and is also known as the “submarine house,” which provided sleeping quarters for soldiers during WWII.
The owners of the Beachside Boutique Inn are a couple, Michael and Christy, who started the Inn years ago after meeting on the beach, falling in love with the Island, and settling down in one of the homes on the property. One of their greatest loves is the older historic beach houses scattered about the island, but unfortunately, many have gotten demolished to build larger homes, destroying the character of the island. They wanted to save the cottages and bungalows on their property from similar demise and began renting out some of them, then converted three of them into what is known as Beachside Boutique Inn. Michael now restores many of the unique homes in the area.
The Drunken Sailor is a cottage that’s part of a Riverside property the owners have added to their offerings. It has a cozy living area, kitchen, and amazing views from the dining room.

The Turtles Nest is another of the Riverside cottages, featuring an upstairs space that may be one of the best imaginable, with a bedroom leading to a shared deck with extensive beautiful marsh views where you can barbecue your freshly caught fish from the pier or watch the sun set following a fun day at the beach. The downstairs is roomy and comfortable with everything you need.

The Sunburst, a cottage located close to Center Street and local grocery store Bert’s, has a short one-block walk to the beach and a private entrance with outdoor porches upstairs and downstairs. The property is shared with another small bungalow connected by a brick pathway surrounded by lush greenery, oak tree, and flowers. It has a queen-size murphy bed, a sofa bed, and a bathroom.
