Willow Springs Park in Johnson City was first established in 1998.
Captain D/ Google The park sprawls across the 36-acre property with incredible views of the nearby mountains. The name of the park came from a local dairy farm with the same name that was in operation during the early 1900s. Willow Springs is great all year round, but it is particularly beautiful in the fall. The mountains light up in a fiery array of colors and the trees in the park showcase the autumn colors close up.
The park has winding paved paths for walking and exercise.
B T/ Tripadvisor These paths curve around the hills and weave in and out of the wooded areas. There are lights that harken back to the early days of Johnson City and illuminate the park at night. One side of the park even has wooded paths if you want a more natural feel.
Near the southern entrance of the park, you can find a small pond. This tiny addition is a great place to look for frogs or watch the many turtles that call the pond home.
