Since the Sunflower State is fairly new when compared to, say, the thirteen original colonies, you’d be forgiven for thinking there might not be very many historic homes in Kansas that are worth a visit. However, we actually have quite a lot of well-preserved history here! Obviously, we’ve got plenty of Wild West attractions like Dodge City, but there are also several more genteel historic sites throughout Kansas that are very informative and feel like a step back in time. One of our favorites is the Seelye Mansion in the charming town of Abilene. This place has so much history and the tours are absolutely fascinating.
