The 2022 Geminid Meteor Shower in Arkansas will be the most spectacular celestial show this year.

If you’re a stargazer, chances are, you’ve witnessed meteor showers before. And typically, those showers are usually 3-20 meteors streaking through the sky every hour.

Well, on December 13, head to the best dark sky area in Arkansas to watch the Geminid Meteor Shower of 2022.

If the skies are clear, the Geminid shower can be seen all night long. But for the most spectacular show, view the shower during the late evening to early morning hours, between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

The Geminids is the most unique event in our sky because unlike the typical meteor shower, they originate from an asteroid called Phaethon.
