Hiking in Washington is nothing short of a soul-affirming experience. With gorgeous landscapes including rushing rivers, towering mountains, and old-growth forests, the Evergreen State is a hiking enthusiast’s dream. And that’s especially true if you’re a hiker with a keen interest in waterfalls. Today’s feature destination will take us on an adventure to explore some seriously stunning Washington waterfalls. Wallace Falls State Park doesn’t skimp on beauty at any stage of this glorious hike. Every step of the way, from the trailhead and the winding footbridges to the nine pristine Washington waterfalls at the end of the hike, is set to stun.

There are three major waterfalls along the Wallace River: Lower, Middle, and Upper. One of the beautiful things about this trail is that you can stop at several points along the way and still get a view of the falls. It doesn’t require hiking all the way out to the end to get the aesthetic reward.

There’s a lot of visual interest along the trails as well. In addition to scenic overlooks and smaller cascades that you’ll encounter along the way, there are a number of walkways and footbridges cutting through the rich landscape.
