Built in 1796 by Jesse Ives, the Old Riverton Inn is a New England landmark with a rich history. It began its life as Ive’s Tavern, a welcoming stagecoach stop located on the old Albany to Hartford Post Road. Ives ran the inn and tavern until 1856.

Today, the inn is owned by the hospitable and welcoming Adam and Danamarie Towers. The inn hosts ten non-smoking guest rooms with a beautiful view of the Farmington River and the Riverton Village.
