A lot has changed in the little lakeside village of Sister Bay over the years, but one special local business has anchored the town through it all. The Sister Bay Bowl is one of the best places to experience the local flavor in Door County. It’s a classic Wisconsin restaurant – part supper club, part bowling alley. It’s all you need for a wonderful night out in Wisconsin. Here’s what’s waiting for you at the Sister Bay Bowl.

You’ll find the Sister Bay Bowl perched on the Sister Bay hill, which you’ll descend as you enter this charming little town from the south.

“The Bowl,” as locals call it, predates most of the town’s current businesses. In 1950, the Willems family purchased the Sister Bay Hotel and started welcoming guests. They would make big changes to the property.

In 1958, the owners tore down a dance hall to make room for a new six-lane bowling alley. In 1964, they opened the supper club.

The same family still operates the Bowl, and many of their customers have been coming for decades. When you visit the Bowl, you’ll understand why.

If you’re a bowler, you’ll enjoy this classic bowling alley, and if you love great food and cocktails, you may never want to leave. The restaurant serves all the Wisconsin classics, including prime rib, cheese curds, and an awesome Wisconsin fish fry.

The cocktails are fantastic as well – order a classic like an old-fashioned or a specialty cocktail like a Door County cherry mule. All the cocktails are made from scratch!
