Bridges and other outdoor structures are typically seen as both beautiful and picturesque, but some have proven to be downright morbid and horrifying. While most bridges in The Centennial State are innocent, there is one that is home to several terrifying legends that will make your hair stand on end. Located near the small Eastern Plains town of Bennett, Third Bridge is a small overpass that runs over the dried-up Kiowa Creek.

For years, local folklore has centered around the belief that the Third Bridge (or “Ghost Bridge”) is haunted by the spirits of Native Americans…
