The Newport Winter Festival is an annual event in Vermont that’s held in Gardner Park. During this jam-packed day of play, you and your family will have plenty to do. Some highlights include entering an ice sculpture contest, going on a scavenger hunt, snowmobiling, putting on your own ice skating routine, and sledding. Artists of all levels are welcome to take part in the annual ice sculpture contest held during the winter festival. Since there are different categories, (such as the most original), you’ll have a better chance of winning too!

And, if you stay until the end of the festival, you’ll get to enjoy a stunning fireworks display over Lake Memphremagog. This is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
