Follow the yellow brick road that will lead you around Country Junction, the World’s Largest General Store in Lehighton. The store spans 50,000 square feet, so you have a LOT of room to cover if you want to see everything.

That yellow brick promises all the nostalgic feels as you wander through the store, checking out the collections of just about everything – holiday decorations, pet supplies, home décor, and scores of candy.

Originally called The Service Team in 1983, the shop initially focused on installing insulation before it branched out and began selling everything from lawn care supplies to gifts. That expansion led to the birth of Country Junction, the World’s Largest General Store.

The popular Pennsylvania destination’s storied history hasn’t been without its challenges. A fire swept through the shop in 2006, completely destroying it. It returned, better than ever, in 2010.

Regardless of when you visit, you’ll likely find a jam-packed parking lot. The general store, however, is so much more than a shopping destination.

Bring the kiddos or have a few adults-only hours at the arcade, Let’s Play, which boasts more than 40 games. Laser tag, arcade, and bowling parties are also offered.
