Cabins in NorCal October 29, 2022 Sarah M. What are some other cabins in NorCal for a getaway? Have you ever visited the small coastal town of Gualala, California? The population here is about 2,200, living on the northernmost tip of the Sonoma County coast. The climate is mild and sunny, and it is said the ocean winds keep the fog offshore. This magical place offers widespread views of the water, wildlife, unforgettable sunrises, and sunsets. And a perfect Gualala oceanfront rental is awaiting your stay. This cozy coastal cottage in NorCal sleeps four, with two bedrooms, three baths, and decks available at every turn. It’s a classic beach cottage in one of the most scenic areas of the state! If you’d rather enjoy a cabin in the woods, this cozy VRBO is pretty much perfect. Located on an alpaca ranch, this charming Lake County Cabin is kid- and dog-friendly, and is surrounded by some truly jaw-dropping NorCal scenery. The property consists of a 2,494-square-foot farmhouse and “Glamping Barn,” which together offer the perfect place for a large family, group of friends, family reunion, or other special events. The farmhouse features a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and fireplace. The other two bedrooms are roomy and comfortable as well, both featuring comfortable queen-size beds and inviting décor. Of course, the main attraction of this rental is, of course, the animals. There are four fuzzy alpacas that roam the property at-will, grazing among the verdant meadows which overlook the eye-catching lake in the distance. The alpacas also share their home with a wide array of wildlife, including coyotes, wild turkeys, bobcats, and other creatures. There are hiking and mountain biking trails on the property as well, and when you add it all up, makes for the perfect little NorCal getaway!
