Did you know that, when you eat chocolate, your brain releases endorphins in a similar way as it would, say, hugging a loved one? Yep – chocolate is an experience in and of itself, and if there’s anything in this world most of us are hopelessly addicted to, it’s chocolate. Enter this absolutely divine annual festival in Fort Wayne that’s all about that cocoa life. It’s the Fort Wayne Chocolatefest, and we promise it’s the most delicious chocolate festival in Indiana (until the next one, anyway). Of all the date ideas for Valentine’s Day in Indiana that we can come up with, this one is by far the most delectable.
February 10, 2023, is set to be the single sweetest day of the year.
Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership/Flickr That’s right! It’s time for the annual Fort Wayne Chocolate Festival, and this year’s festivities are going to be even more chocolatey than last year.
Fort Wayne has an interesting history in the chocolate business; it’s home to several amazing chocolatiers, like DeBrand and Kilwins, and as a result, it’s the perfect place for an event just like this one.

Challenge: try not to lick the screen for the rest of this article. Go on. We dare you.
bigbirdz/Flickr Among the amazing things you can expect out of this year’s delights are things like not one, but three to-die-for chocolate dipping stations; one is milk, one is dark, and one is white. All are incredible.
There will, of course, be plenty more, from additional chocolatey desserts to a full dinner complete with the best dessert item in the world (yep, more chocolate).
Letizia Piatti/Flickr There will also be a full ice cream sundae bar, so be sure to bring your sweet tooth. You’ll definitely need it.
There will also be live music, a silent auction, and all sorts of other fun to get into while you’re here.

Please keep in mind that there are no walk-ins accepted, so you’ll have to get your tickets in advance.
Theryn Fleming/Flickr For fee-free tickets (which are $50 for the night, unless you want a $500 VIP table) be sure to call (not text) Jim Cherry at 260.637.8184.
If you prefer to get your tickets online instead, check out the official Eventbrite website for more details.
