Being a parent is a truly special experience, but it also has its downsides. How many times have you wanted to relax the day away but are awakened before your alarm goes off by kids who are bouncing off the walls? There are so many wonderful family attractions in Georgia, and we’ve got playgrounds galore. You can even find indoor playgrounds to visit when the weather’s not cooperative. But there’s something we love about an old-fashioned outdoor playground and park that lets kids get exercise, burn off energy, enjoy the fresh air, and interact with others their own age. One of the best spots for this is McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth. This is a great park in Georgia and it’s even got an adorable farm-themed playground!
McDaniel Farm Park spans over 134 acres in Gwinnett County. This interesting park has it all, with trails, wildlife, a babbling brook, and historic structures, in addition to the playground.

The park was originally a real working farm owned by the McDaniel family. The historic section of the park has been restored to show what life would have been like here in the 1930s.

You’ll also find plenty of beautiful scenery, with great areas for picnicking or just sitting and reading a book in nature.
