There’s a thriving downtown area here, with plenty of great shop and businesses to check out, but until early 2023, there was no local brewery. All of that changed when Tvelo Brewing opened up.
Tvelo is right in the heart of Thomasville’s lively downtown area. There’s a lot to see and do here, and you’ll find plenty of wonderful little shops to check out.

The brewery just opened up in late January 2023, and while the grand opening has already occurred, you can still catch plenty of special events that will be taking place here, like food trucks and bike rides.

Tvelo currently features seven made-in-Thomasville brews.

The spot where Tvelo is located was once a bike repair shop, which is fitting, since the “velo” part of the brewery’s name is French for bicycle. The T is for, of course, Thomasville.
