You wouldn’t think winter would be the best time to see a field of blooming flowers, but here in Northern California it is! Between Monterey and Big Sur is a small ravine of blooming white flowers– Calla Lily Valley.

Calla Lily Valley can be seen while hiking the half-mile Garrapata trail.

From there, find Garrapata trailhead and hike a few minutes until you reach a descending staircase.
