If you’re visiting with children 10 or younger, your first stop should be Bounce Beach. This is one area of the building that everyone will love.

The ocean theme is carried out throughout the indoor playground with waves, boats, pirate ships, and other kid-friendly decor. Its large area is separated from the rest of the activities and is perfect for younger kids to play while adults to sit back and relax. The area includes slides, climbing structures, bounce houses, and other soft play designs. It only costs $10 per child to play all day long.

Indoor Playground in Kentucky January 12, 2023 Sarah M. What are some other amazing indoor playgrounds and adventure parks in Kentucky? While we’re all for visiting one of our state’s numerous epic outdoor playgrounds, sometimes the weather in Kentucky doesn’t cooperate (hello, sweltering summer heat or mid-winter ice storms!). It’s always good to have a tried-and-true indoor playground in your back pocket for a rainy day (literally); and luckily, we have lots of amazing indoor playgrounds and attractions in Kentucky kids are sure to love:
Explorium of Lexington. Located in the Victorian Square block of Lexington, Kentucky, this place is an epic children’s-museum-meets-indoor-playground, with a hefty dose of STEAM thrown in for good measure. The emporium is comprised of several different play zones, each with a different theme and focus. Kentucky history, physics and space, outdoor environments, arts and crafts… your kids will not run out of things to do here! A favorite for the three-and-under crowd is Wonder Woods, a unique playground that brings the Great Outdoors indoors. A treehouse and soft gym blocks make this downright irresistible to toddlers. Recbar. Looking for an indoor playground in Kentucky for adults? Welcome to Recbar, an amazing arcade and attraction in Louisville, Kentucky. Step inside, and you will immediately be transported back to your teenage years, when you met up with friends for a wild Friday night of arcade games and cheap eats. With over 60 arcade games and 70 pinball machines, you’re sure to find your favorites at Recbar – and some new-to-you options, too! Skee ball, basketball hoops, a claw machine that shoots out White Claw seltzers, an amazing menu, and laid-back vibes make Recbar the indoor playground for adults in Kentucky. Louisville Mega Cavern. Easily the most unique attraction in Kentucky, the Louisville Mega Cavern is a massive underworld that’s a true superlative superstar. The Louisville Mega Cavern is home to the only fully underground zip line on the planet. There are six zip lines located 100 feet above the canyon floor, with two swinging bridges, and immeasurable adventure. But that’s not the only superlative up the Mega Cavern’s sleeve. It boasts the world’s only fully underground aerial ropes challenge course, the largest indoor bike park in the world, and the only fully underground holiday light display on the planet! Who knew such fun could be found beneath the streets of Louisville, Kentucky?
