When people plan weekend getaways in Georgia, they often think first of our larger cities, like Savannah, Atlanta, and Augusta. These are all great places to escape for a few days. But some of our smaller towns are also perfect retreats! One of the best is the growing town of Senoia. This place has a population of just over 5,000, but you’ll find a surprising number of attractions here that make it ideal for a two-day excursion. Check out a few of our favorite attractions:
Senoia is located about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta. The town’s name is pronounced by locals as “suh-noy.”
