Visit Little Manatee River State Park In Florida

Florida has quite a few really impressive state parks, especially ones that stay under the radar regarding visitors. Little Manatee River State Park in Wimauma is one of those parks where you can easily escape the crowds for an afternoon outside. What’s been dubbed a “Real Florida” park, visitors will be able to hike through the swamplands, sleep under sand pines, and paddle out along the river’s edge. You can even set up shop and camp for a weekend away.

The park is open 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to sundown. The cost to enter is $5 per vehicle. However, camping is an extra fee.
