There are infinite stories of hauntings big and small scattered all across the globe. However, not every story is completely believable. Today’s adventure is all about the hauntings in a town named Lovell. When it comes to local stories, however, you might want to visit this haunted small town in Wyoming before you pass the final judgment on the paranormal. Some stories are too solid to ignore.
To start things off, you’ll have to stop by a place called Shoshone Bar & Grill, where the ghost of a candyman named Ted Louie gets away with all sorts of shenanigans.

Though he disappeared in the 1940s, it seems as if his penchant for pranks has stood the test of time. He turns on appliances, makes strange noises, and makes things float through the air. Though this ghost is more funny than freaky, the number of witnesses of his haunted hijinks makes this story more believable than most.

The next story is more of a cautionary tale, compared to the others. A man in the 1970s had allegedly lost control of his motorcycle just outside of town, and wrecked. The bike landed on him after the tumble, and he thankfully died on impact instead of suffering where no one would find him.

It is said that there’s still a spot of dirt redder than the rest marks where he laid after he passed. Could it be his blood permanently staining the ground beneath him? Locals have also heard engine revving and spotted a ghostly figure speeding on the horizon, seemingly riding in the distance in directions with no roads.

The last and most popular story around these parts is centered around a spot just outside town, called Kane, Wyoming. An ethereally blue woman paces through the space the cemetery used to be, and draws folks in with what seems like beauty from afar. However, upon getting close to her, you’ll discover that she’s actually very ugly, with a cruel look on her face.

As the stories go, she wanders this area looking for her lost children, who were drowned by their father during a rage. Some say that when water levels go down, you can see the tops of gravestones. Some locals have even claimed that if you allow yourself to be around her for too long, she will drag you into the water to help her look for her lost babies.

Are you scared yet? Even if standard ghost stories don’t affect you, a hidden ghost town abandoned after a tragedy may send that shiver up your spine, instead. Haunted stories aside, there are still lots of reasons to visit Wyoming’s coziest mountain towns, including Lovell.
