Winter gets gloomy sometimes. After all, the cold weather and gray skies can often keep us in the house. Sure, staying curled up under a blanket is a cozy way to spend a day, but sometimes we want that fast-paced excitement we find so easily during the summer. When you’re craving some chills and thrills, make your way to this snow tubing park in Missouri.
Bundle up for a whirlwind winter adventure when you spend a few hours at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Eureka, a popular destination for thrill seekers who want to go skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing.

If it’s soaring down a mountain over and over again you’re after, make your way to Polar Plunge, the largest snow tubing park in Missouri.

Polar Plunge boasts an epic 16 lanes, so there’s plenty of room for everyone. (Keep in mind, though, that all 16 lanes aren’t always open.)

Grab a tube; head for the shortest line then…zip down the mountain. Don’t worry about having to trudge back up the mountain again. Polar Plunge features two conveyor lifts, so you can glide right back up to the top for another ride.

However, before you climb on the conveyor lift, grab a bite to eat at the snack bar or, if you’re a bit chilled, warm up by one of the roaring bonfires.

Snow tubing is offered in two-hour sessions; make sure you arrive around 30 to 45 minutes prior to start time, so you can take advantage of both hours of your tubing session. If two hours isn’t enough time, you can reserve another two-hour session.

Although tubing is a fun event for all ages, participants must be at least 42 inches tall. All tubers must ride in their own tube.
